First FAI-AVOPA is under the short name of AIFA (All India Federation of Avopas) was formed and had been working since 1988 with out Registration. Afterwards sri Vemula Ramakrishna garu became the president on 27-10-2004.
After taking over charge as President of the Association, He submitted an application for Registration requesting in the name of A.I.F.A. The Andhra pradesh government considered name as "Federation of AVOPAs of India". With continuous persuasion by then president sri Vemula Ramakrishna garu and then Secretary Finance CA Beldi Sridhar garu finally FAI got the registration on 18-04-2007 certifying that "Federation of AVOPAs of India" registered under Andhra pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001 as Registration no.624/2007 dated 18-04-2007.
